Google did mention to expect an early version of their operating system, soon. They did stick to thier promise and offered a development snapshot of thier upcoming operating system today. As speculated the operating system is the chrome browser on steroids, it seems that the whole interface is web browser centric. There will be no conventional applications, all the apps run on the OS is said to be web applications.

5 Years of Firefox, A Testement To Open Source Potential
With the recent passing of Firefox’s fifth birthday, it got me thinking of the magnitude of good this innovative browser has done to promote the open source software movement. I clearly recall back in 2005 when I first stumbled on this browser in my search to rid myself of the virus prone Internet Explorer 6.

Could there Be Google OS Clues in Google Wave??
I Received my Google Wave invite from Google this morning. After a long wait it was relieving to see that Google considered me by sending the invite. The service looks incredibly exciting but there is alot of playing and learning to be done since it is such an innovative and different product.
Firefox 3.6 Beta 2 Now Avalaible
Firefox 3.6 beta 2 is now avalaible for download. Note that although beta’s are reasonably stable there are still bugs and therefore are not intended for production usage. The new 3.6 version brings along with it many new improvements and features that were meant for 3.5. Along with about 190 bug fixes.
